Bent County Home Health provides local, compassionate, quality care in the comfort of your home. Our state licensed, Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency provides needed services to the residents of Southeast rural Colorado. Home health is a cost effective and comforting solution
compared to residing in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living community. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. Home health is not just for the elderly. Bent County Home Health is available for all ages and medical situations. Medicare/Medicaid pays 100% (as long as eligibility is maintained). Qualified patients have no co-pay and no deductibles. Most private insurance is also accepted and is based upon your specific plan.

can provide assessment, vital signs, wound care including wound vac
therapy, catheter changes, medication supervision and management, insulin
administration, ordered lab work, and more. We specialize in managing and providing
education regarding all aspects of disease management and prevention
home health aide
can give you hands-on help with the chores of daily living such as
hygiene and grooming, dressing, and bathing.
physical therapy
can assist you with regaining strength and range of motion through a
structured exercise program, improve your walking through exercise, and work on your
balance along with assisting you in preventing falls. Physical Therapy is a discipline in
rehabilitation designed to assist people in return to their highest level of independent
mobility. Using exercise, balance re-training, gait training, and education of patient and
family to allow the patient to return to safe independent mobility. Physical Therapy is
usually utilized after a fall, joint replacement, stroke, heart attack, or anytime a person is
having diƯiculty completing their usual activities during the day.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
can assist you in regaining strength in your arms and hands, along
with increasing your ability to complete your daily activities around your home more safely
and with less eƯort. Occupational Therapy is a part of rehabilitation designed for all ages to
allow everyone to participate in their daily living activities at the greatest independent level,
through evaluation, and continued assessment. Occupational Therapy utilizes upper
extremity strengthening, sensory integration, education in use of appropriate adaptive
equipment, balance re-training and coordination.
